Looking for law-related part-time work while you study?
If you answered « Oui ! », the Association des juristes d’expression française de la Colombie-Britannique (AJEFCB) would like to hear from you as we are currently looking for one student to work as a Project Coordinator to oversee our French legal clinics (we do not provide the clinics ourselves but manage client intake and scheduling). As such, your main task will be to assess clients’ legal needs and to liaise with lawyers.
Since we target students, we provide flexibility in both the numbers of hours worked as well as the work schedule. Perfect French is not expected, although a working knowledge is required.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
• Job title: Project Coordinator
• Period of employment: September 20, 2021 to March 31, 2022 (with possibility of an extension from April 1 to June 30, 2022)
• Hourly rate: $27/hour
• Number of hours: from 5 to 10 per week, according to applicant’s availability and expected workload
• Work hours: flexible in accordance with applicant’s schedule
• Work location: Vancouver (West 7th/Granville St.), but remote work is possible as well
